Beautiful Harmston
November 2004 we moved to Harmston. ( we are me, Val and Mad Mabel our
Gordon Setter). This is an amazing development by a guy called Peter Sowerby
(He lives in the Hall!). The development is new but is built using re-claimed
materials. For example our house has brick from a Manchester warehouse, the
garage is brick from a York hospital and the beams are from a French Church.
The houses range from thatched cottages to stone Manor Houses. We look into
a wood, no traffic just wonderful birdsong.
We also have a delightful old pub run by Julie and Alison; the grub is great and
the real ales are a treat!
